Harvesting the big skies

September days begin and the combine harvesters all around me are racing against the rain to get the corn in. The light was beautiful, the grey skies against the golden light on the stubble. There is something magical about the dust rising above them and I wonder what the light is like across the oceans to Canada tonight? I will have to get more creative as this blog goes on, but this is a start to get me back out there...
