HAPPY November

HAPPY November...it really has been a wonderful month...thankful that we're all feeling better and that so many friends and people I hardly know are commissioning paintings and drawings for their loved ones at Christmas this year. It really does mean SO much to me...thank you if you have and are reading this.
This picture below is of a lovely lady who has been supporting me by purchasing prints from my Etsy Store since I started my shop...thanks Kim!
Love this photo of our girls...although they're changing and growing up SO quickly!!!Makes me kind of sad sometimes...

I will be having a "BUY 2 PRINTS get the 3rd FREE" event starting this Saturday which will run for 10 days...not to worry...you guys will be the 1st to know...and my BlueshineART Fans too...so get on facebook and "LIKE" blueshineART...
On another note...we went to the Royal Winter Fair which is hosted in Toronto every year...I wish I had taken more pics but the lighting wasn't great...here are a few of my faves.
LOOK at this bird...bazaar...there were yellow and pink ones too!
The horses stole the Show with our girls...they could watch them for hours...here they were getting tacked up ready for the big Horse Show - next year we'll treat the girls to the Show...
Well...back to school to pick up little Miss A...she had a wonderful report card which she brought home to us...SO proud of her...Miss J is doing so well too...they don't get report cards until the end of the school year because they're only in JK...but her teacher is very happy with her progress. It makes me tear up when I hear the teacher's talking about our girls...
November has been a wonderful Month...and thank you for all your supportive and kinds comments.
Must dash...

MOO said the cow.

Happy Friday to you!
Here's a commission of my very first Cow watercolour...I loved painting her...
It's for an old family friend who has cows on her Farm...hope you love it Jane!

I can't believe 3 weeks have passed over here already...3 more days and we're flying home to see Mr.R and little Jazzie cat.(very looking forward to seeing Mr.R...OH...and not to forget the HIGH speed internet we're spoiled with in Canada where I live!)

I have been extremely blessed that 4 of my bestest friends came to see me during the weeks I have been here...So lovely to see them all...THANK YOU girlies for the chats!

We have been picking black currents today...building forts in the woods...I went running with little M in his running stroller...and cleaned...again.
Am exhausted and ready for sweet Dreams...

Children's murals...have I shown you these?

Jordi had to be in every shot....I finished both of these murals for my girls as a 2nd Birthday gift...Jordan's was the last I did, which was last Summer...I have been concentrating more on World wide sales and marketing...my murals are usually word of mouth, which at the moment suits me just fine.
This was just when I finished, now she has curtains like in Ashley's room(the one with the Panda bear)
Apple trees to feed the animals in her room...of course:-)
Her 2 favourite horses...Hammi and CB(Christian Bendix-named after my Grandfather from Denmark)
No moving over to Ashley's room...cuddly animals and beautiful flowers...she adores her room..

The colourful song bird...as she calls him. Bright in colour and sitting high and proud.
This is her favourite wall in her room...Gigi Giraffe and the Polly Panda Bear, hugging it's cub.
And last but not least, Molly Monkey...with such kind eyes, watching over her when she sleeps.
Well, it's still a work in progress...I'm excited I have 2 projects to work on this Summer...2 children's murals(fairies and meadows)...last night I started my research into the animals which have been requested...the Blue Heron was a must because it reminded the client of where she spent her Summers up at the cottage...I'll be making pencil sketches of all the flowers and animals first before painting on the wall...it helps with composition, perspective and size comparisons between animals and plants.
I'll keep posting the progress of both future murals...
Have a wonderful day...all is quiet here which is a GREAT thing.
Char,Ontario.
