Free fruit from the hedgerows

Tonight, sadly no image from me because, we ate it! Out to the hedgerows we went to pick blackberries, juicy and plump, they sat in the basket looking delicious - the idea was to come home and gather apples from the tree and make a crumble... I meant to take a picture or draw the plump black gems as they looked so good, but in the rush to gobble them up, stewed a batch, made the crumble and scoffed the lot. It was scrumptious! Oops! I may have to travel out another day in the hope more will have ripened from our secret spot and get the picture of Autumn to post! Tam, Herts
