a little FACE-lift

an old woollen sweater, leggings which have become too short...so I cut the bottoms of the legs off to make shorts out of them.
Mr.R's shirts...getting tatty around the collar...so he gave them to moi...miss. I can use it...
whilst I waited for paint to dry (literally) I got the machine out and make some little birds...I love keeping things like all of the above...because I KNOW I will use it one day!
Little Miss J's Jeans had shrunk (or she's growing!), oh and she had 2 holes in the knees!
...I refuse to by a new pair of jeans for her right now,and they still fit her perfectly around the waist...so...a little repair and lengthening did the job!
what do you think?

do you upcycle? Have any links for me? I'm thinking I could upcycle quite a few of their old clothes...

Hope you had a great Tuesday...I'm hoping to finish my Dad this evening...thanks for all the compliments!!

Love these, what a great idea! I have hoards of stuff that I intend to upcycle but never seem to get around to it. I feel as long as I'm not wasting by throwing away then its OK and I'm sure one day the stuff will get used :P

A genius idea and I love how you can turn your creative hand and eye to something so pratical, but looks absolutely stunning and.....I think you have inspired me as I'm always having problem with tiny waists, but growing legs though only for the girls as my son is the opposite, he would prefer to rip the bottoms off his jeans and have holey knees!!!
