Seeing double?

don't worry...it's not your eyes...remember a couple of weeks ago I gave the picture on the right to my neighbour for her Birthday?
well, the very next day she went to the framing shop and was sifting through mats for to frame it...and she left the picture behind...but, didn't realize until she got home.
She rushed back to where she just came from...not 10 minutes was she gone...and it had gone...
She was SO upset and said she couldn't believe(and neither could I) that no-one would just hand it in.
This is the reason for the other one which I managed to squeeze in a few hours to draw yesterday,I know,I should have been doing other things....prioritizing....but I felt like doing it.
I didn't want to make it exactly the same...although I love the boys in the first one but prefer the baby in the second.
C'est la vie...
Do you believe in Karma?
I do...if someone did steal it...because it's definitely stealing...well, we all know that what goes around comes around...
I can see if you found a drawing in the middle of a forest or just flying around on the street, then yes, own it...but this was in it's packaging...and in a store.
Anyway...Happy Birthday again D.
Hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday...it's calling for snow here....I know it's only October!

That just chaps my hide...these people! And yes, I truly believe in the Law of the Universe, "What goes around, comes around and comes around 100 fold." So they'll get there's. Anyway, the work is absolutely wonderful, but everything you all do is wonderful!!

oh....that is awful that someone would take something so very personal. maybe it will turn up in the mail or something since it was in packaging? or am i naive?

you're so talented - i hope they at least appreciate that. (and very sweet too)

Universal justice, we call it. One has to trust it exists. Lovely drawings, anyway.

Oh, my gosh. That stinks! It's a good thing you are so talented and can make another one so quickly for her. I bet that helped calm her down. You are so generous!!!

Maybe they'll find it soon. Keep calling the store for sure.

You are such an incredible artist and so sweet to make another drawing for her! I feel bad for you and her that the first one was taken - and so quickly! But, like Ann said, now she'll have quite the story to go with your amazing art! Hugs, Silke

Love, love, love your art and photography. What blessed children to live with such talent.

What is it with giveaways? That befuddled me with all the followers... I don't get it.

Anyway, I had fun looking at your blog. I will be back.
