FABULOUS Friday...and finished blanket...

Do you ever feel like something GREAT is going to happen?

Yesterday and this morning feels like that...I feel giddy and excited about the prospects of becoming an illustrator! Really, it's true...I feel butterflies in my stomach...like now is the time...the time I may get my break.
Also because Shelly and I have SO many ideas for this series of books...we really have a while before the excitement could vanish...not that it ever should.
Thanks for all of your comments yesterday...I will pass by and say hi today...this week has FLOWN by again.

I did manage to finish the blanket I have been crocheting for my new little nephew (1st ever blanket)...I learnt a few new stitches(self taught)...I haven't taken a picture of the absolute finished product as my sister may check in here and then the surprise would be broken.

I've been working on it for 3 weeks in my down time...like when I wait for the girls whilst they dance...or watching any shows I have recorded...I like having projects on the go...it helps me feel like I am accomplishing something.

What are you working on?
AND what do you do in those "waiting" times?

Have a FABULOUS Friday and a fantastic weekend.
We'll catch up on Monday....with hopefully some GREAT news about the book.

happy HUGS

Love the colour choices for your blanket! I have the yarn all wound and ready to start into a knit baby blanket. I have actually started it...twice. I have a problem with getting into a project (knitting or crochet) I need to take it out a million times before I fully get going! :) I suppose that's why I have only one finished crocheted blanket and 2 finished knit dishcloths!!
