AIR-DRY Das clay beads with Art Camp this week....this week they're NOT getting stuck on the wooden skewer as they dry(this happened 2 weeks ago...not funny, half of them cracked)...you really do learn what to do and what not to do through trial and error...lol.
I love working with clay...any readers out there know of a good Pottery class to go to anywhere East of Toronto?
Off to visit YOUR Worlds.
Have a lovely evening.

I can just imagine the projects you'll use these beads on!
Hi Char!
It's so, so good to be back & to visit YOUR world again! Art Camp really looks like a success, and I'm really happy for you!
Wow... and saturday courses as well! Way to go! Teaching art is so very, very rewarding, isn't it?!
Not to mention inspiring!

Ooh, I can't wait to see them glazed! Yes, we certainly learn through trial and error. Glad this time is going better!
lol! i hear you on that; trial and error ;p
i wish i could point you to a good pottery class (east of toronto)... whenever i look at other's pottery and clay sculpture i yearn to work with it myself.
as for me... i'm hard pressed to locate "local" pottery classes (michigan girl), but if i ever find myself in a place to offer any inside advice "you got it!" ^.^
have a great day! looking forward to see where these beads go ;)
xoxo,
