EXTENDED SALE...

The Show went well, we had a steady flow of Shoppers throughout the day although we saw a huge difference in numbers compared to last year.(SORRY...no pics, I forgot my camera-I know...so bad!)
I had a successful day with my "Once Upon a Time" prints so I have extended the $10 sale until further notice.
I have sold over half of the designs so I only have a few more left on my Etsy store as they are Limited Edition prints...so I have to start creating new Watercolours this week.
I met so many great Women at the Show and made lots of new contacts.So many great crafters and entrepreneurs.Thank you for all of your support!
We had about 95% positive feedback from our vendors,which I'm very happy about and the other 5% were vendors who were extremely upset with their day.What can you do? You can't please everyone...and if you just sit back and wait for people to come to your table...it won't bring you any sales or interest or contacts,it's all about networking and promoting.So really...if these few vendors don't wish to come back...that's fine with us.
I'll be posting my new Once Upon a Time print later today.

4 NEW Once Upon a Times...

I could have waited to post one a day this week...but thought you may need some extra eye candy considering I have been a little lacking in the "posting" department these past couple of weeks...
I'm really happy with the Finch...it reminds me that Spring is here...even though we've had torrential rains here outside Toronto and a wind like you wouldn't believe. It feels like a typical English rainy day-cold,damp and bitter when in it!
Below we have our lovely Ginger Cat...who has been a great part of my childhood and has left lots of wonderful memories. All the ginger cats I have known are extremely mellow in temperament and very loving but also independent cats. I love cats...and will surely be painting more in the near future.

Every child wants to ride their large pet dog...and isn't allowed. So this one is for all those little boys who dream that they could explore the countryside on their Pet Dog.

I wanted to have another Elephant in the Once Upon a Child collection...this one is a night scene with just one boy sitting alone.

They'll all be posted on my Etsy Store some time this week...definitely before the Show this weekend...also because I am dropping prices for the Show considerably, I'll be matching prices on my Blueshinebaby etsy store on Saturday and Sunday...so come back this week to my blog, you will not want to miss this!

I'm feeling quite emotional right now and so honoured to have met such great people behind the most wonderful blogs.
It's been a few months of reading passionate writing, viewing the most creative people with amazing ideas.
You keep my confidence high when I have doubts, which pushes me to expand and create when I have so few hours left in the day....and little energy left.

Thank you all...I had big plans on posting them last week and have just been swept off my feet.

I'm juggling the final prep for the Mamas and Chicks trade show I organise with a friend...and dealing with 58 vendors can be consuming at times...I love it because they're really great women, but my home and children are being a little neglected...they've been having more play dates, which I think they actually LOVE!

Anyway, I will be posting another watercolour later today.

Another Once Upon a time...yes, have been rather productive today...my daughter gave me a list of animals that she would love to see me paint.So this was first on her list.

Once Upon a Time Rhino...

I'm thinking if I make some more "Boy" illustrations, I'll get better sales at the Show...so this week I'm concentrating on animals which are loved by little boys...I'm excited about all the earthy colours.
