bright...

Bright Star...have you seen it?
well...I got to see the first 15 minutes...STUNNING colours and amazing camera work.
then our DVD player crapped out...so upset...but images still engraved on my brain...
so I sketched her funny red and white dress...honestly...the film is a must see...(thanks for the suggestion Abby!)

Oh...and have you ever coloured on Moleskine sketch paper? It's like silk...wonderful...smooth...a pleasure...you should try it...even if you don't usually draw or sketch...you'll probably be tempted to take up sketching!

IF I don't get a chance before V day...please accept my HUG to you all... and have a SWEET one!

yes, I saw it a couple of weeks ago and it is so beautiful but so sad and the melancholy feeling lasted thru the next day too.
But I wholeheartedly recommend it and hope you can get to watch the rest of it soon.
and your drawing is lovely!

GORGEOUS!!!

(AND NO, I HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE... ACTUALLY I HADN'T EVEN HEARD ABOUT IT UNTIL NOW... MUST GET OFF MY HILL A BIT OFTER...)

But I love the drawing you did... and I love the dress. (Did I ever tell you I ALWAYS wear dresses like that? The pooffy, german looking kind... they're sweet and SUPER comfortable! (PLUS, conveniently hide a few extra pounds... but that is strictly between us).

Anyhow, Happy V day to you too and I have made amental note about the movie!!!
K.

PS. I'm not even going to start about the Moleskin as I have a serious Moleskin addiction I'm working on... seriously.
:o)

I haven't seen this but I've heard mention of it several times this week, so clearly I need to.

Lovely sketches, btw.
