Thrifting for Antiques...

Ever since I was little...I have been in and out of little Second Hand shops and taken to Car Boot Sales and Antique fairs...

My Mum is an avid hunter of treasures for little monies...

Here's a little collection which I have put together of treasure which she has given me over the years.

I love this Cherub brooch, even if it's broken...Italian maybe?

I love Japanese china...this looks so pretty on a necklace.

Keys...I love old keys...and am sad that they're not used any more...I understand the practicality of the keys we have nowadays...but I still wished my front door could be opened with a key like this.

Frost bitten

On days which look like a blanket of snow have covered the Kentish landscape...all it really was,was a heavy heavy frost...I took a few pictures..I know I am supposed to be drawing or painting but I am busy sewing Sweet Dream Fairies and still wish to continue with our New and Old theme...
Talking about New...I wonder if my dear partner in this venture has had her new addition to their family.
